Preparation
- If you are taking any medication please let me know during your consultation, as this may prevent the treatment being carried out.
- Wax or shave at least 24 hours prior to your spray tan.
- Ensure that you exfoliate prior to your tan, paying special attention to hands, knees, elbows, feet and any other dry areas of the body. This will leave you with soft, smooth skin which provides a perfect base for your tan.
- On the day of your spray tan DO NOT wear any make-up, deodorant, perfume, body oils or lotions as these may react with the tanning agents in Sienna-X liquids.
- Wear loose, dark clothing, sandals or flip flops.
Aftercare
- Wear dark, loose clothing.
- Keep skin completely dry and avoid water contact for at least 8 hours.
- Avoid any activities which may cause you to perspire e.g. Sauna, steam, exercising.
- Rinse off remaining colour guide with warm water. Once the water runs clear gently wash yourself with a mild soap.
- To prolong your tan use a body moisturiser everyday to lock in colour.
- 5-7 days after your spray tan it is recommended that you exfoliate using a loofah or scrub. Repeat this every 2 days thereafter to ensure that your tan fades evenly and to prepare your skin for your next Sienna- X application.
